Open House Parents: Please don't forget that the annual Arnett Open House has been planned in conjunction with the PTA Meeting on Tuesday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity to visit your child's classroom and see some of the work that Arnett Students have accomplished over the past 2 months! All parents are cordially invited to attend!

Room Parents Do not forget that there will be a meeting of all room parents on Monday, October, 5, at 9:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria.

HAVE YOU JOINED THE PTA? Its still not too late to join the Arnett Parent Teacher Association. The Arnett PTA is still accepting membership fees. You may join the Arnett PTA by placing $3.00 in an envelope and marking it: Arnett Elementary PTA, your child's name and your child's teacher. This should be turned in to the school office. DONT DELAY: do so today!

Congratulations to Our All-Star Readers! Shane Densler, Colleen Gray, and Lorna Scott. These students completed and returned their summer reading packet by September 30. They recieved a certificate, a bag of goodies, a water bottle shaped like a baseball, and each will be able to pick one paperback book from the Book Fair!

Congratulations to the Arnett Student Council Members! Those elected to the Arnett Student Council are: Stephen Griffin, Rachel Griner, Tyler Harrod, Kristina Holloway, Katie LaCorte, Daniel Maley, Kelsey Martin, Chris Miller, Justin Morgan, T.J. Pelfrey, Rachel Schneider, and Jessica Young. These students will represent the school in deciding on activities to make Arnett a fun and safe place to be. Our student council advisor is Laura McLean.

Save Boxtops! Save your General Mills boxtops and bring them to school. Mrs. Triplett and Mrs. Cecil are collecting them to earn cash for the school. Look for the collection box in the School Lobby!
